A Contest very special art at the Hamradio-Friedrichshafen organised by the EUDXF: Eyeball QSO Contest!

Participants are required to search for and obtain calls, names and signatures from as many different DXCC entities as possible by making “eyeball QSOs” during the Ham Radio. The calls/names/signatures are to be recorded on this card. Cards have to be turned in at the EUDXF stand on Sunday 11.00 hours at the latest and the one who has collected the most entities will be the winner. The winner will be published on our website and will be awarded a prize. No DX-pedition callsigns are allowed. Station eyeballed must be resident in the country where (s)he holds his/her callsign. By submitting this card you agree with the decisions of the eyeball contest committee, formed by the EUDXF Board. Enjoy!

Dick-PA3FQA: DX Code of Conduct
 
Most of you have seen much more evidence of our progress in spreading the word about the DX Code of Conduct to the ham radio community. Our site has had almost 16,000 unique visitors. The distribution of visitors is world-wide, one of our key objectives. Click on http://s07.flagcounter.com/more/NoSG to see our statistics. It has been gratifying to see that t he overwhelming majority of DXpeditions have endorsed the Code.
 
For the coming year, our goals are to:
 
1. Work with DXpedition team leaders to encourage training exercises so that every operator's proficiency at pileup management is at a level consistent with their team's objectives.
 
2. Continue to get DXPeditions to incorporate the Code EARLY on in their website planning. Many of these sites have 50,000 visitors and we'd sure like more of their visitors come see our website. Whatever click thru rate we can get, it would be better if we were part of their thinking from Day 1.
 
3. Work with the national societies to get them on board to promulgate the Code to their members through clubs as well as directly to their membership. 'We hope they will post the Code in their language or put a link on their websites.
 
4. Work with the higher profile DX clubs to get them on board on a consistent basis to always work on educating the members about the importance of ethical conduct.
 
5. We would like to have every National Society send every member - or at least every new member - an e-mail version of John and Mark's book as Standard Operating Procedure, and continue to do it forever. OK, so many new members aren't destined to be DXers, but at least they can get the message that ethical behavior is important to the ham community.
 
At the individual level, you will not e that the vast majority of new supporters have incorporated the logo of the Code at their websites. If you signed up before this feature was ready, please take a few minutes, go to www.dx-code.org/link.htm and follow the directions to put it at your website or QRZ page. You can also “talk us up” at your club meetings, perhaps using the Power Point presentation we've prepared. Feedback I received from clubs about the Power Point is enthusiastic.

The World Wide Radio Operators Foundation - www.wwrof.org - has put together a Contester's Code of Ethics that incorporates our Code.  We wish them great success in promulgating that Code to their constituency.  

So our thanks to you all for your support of the cause of striving for the best possible ethical operating practices. We hope you take pride in the role you have played in our mutual success.

Sjoerd-PA0SHY: The SARL and ICASA met 26 May 2011 for their meeting. On the question of ZS and ZR call signs, ICASA confirmed that ZR licences are now full Class A and have the same privileges as ZS licensees. There is no requirement to change the callsign.

Sjoerd-PA0SHY: On 31 May 1961 the Republic of South Africa came into being.On 31 May 2011 it will thus be 50 years. To celebrate this golden event, the Boland Amateur Radio Club will be operating the special event call ZS50RSA. The callsign will be used for the first time on Saturday 4 June and then on various special occasions and certain contests during the next 12 months. The BARK would like to achieve the WAZS 500 Award with this callsign. The SA-QSL system will be used, but a special QSL card will be sent in return of each QSL card received via the SARL QSL Bureau.

Dear All,

The Deutsche Amateur Radio Club e.V. (DARC) is sponsoring this award to celebrate the Women's Football (Soccer) World Cup 2011. Both licensed amateur radio operators and short wave listeners (SWL's) can apply for this award.

In the period beginning June 1st and ending July 31st, 2011, the  special station DL0YLWM and YL district stations  with the callsigns DL0YLx or DR11YLx and the special DOK YLWMx will be on the air. The character x stands for the respective  DARC district , e.g. DL0YLF will be active for DARC district Hessen and use the special DOK YLWMF.

Participants may apply for four awards (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum level). To achieve one of these awards, you need to log the appropriate number of German YL stations in the given time frame. There are no band limitations. Any mode of operation except Packet Radio and Echo Link may be used. So-called "roundtable QSOs" do not count for the award.

Chantal, PA5YL: Gezocht: 4 jonge zendamateurs tussen de 18-25 jaar die het Nederlandse team willen vertegenwoordigen tijdens een bijeenkomst in Roemenië.

De Roemeense jeugdorganisatie ‘Zamolxes Foundation’ is op zoek naar een aantal vrijwillige HAM operatoren voor hun ‘Youth in action’ programma.
Dit programma wordt gesponsord door de Europese Commissie en is bedoeld voor 50 HAM radio deelnemers uit 10 verschillende landen verdeeld over verschillende groepen.

Elke groep bestaat uit 4 jonge radio amateurs (18-25 jaar oud) en één leider. Gedurende dit project zullen de amateurs elkaar leren kennen en deelnemen aan verschillende activiteiten zoals een velddag, ARDF, digitale modes, propagatietests, rampen simulaties, communicatie in noodsituaties, …

Het uitwisselingsproject zal gedurende 7 dagen plaatsvinden in de zomer van 2011. Dit zal waarschijnlijk van 27 juli tot en met 3 augustus 2011 zijn.
De activiteiten zullen georganiseerd worden vanuit de radioclub YO9KXR in Campina (KN25UD), 90km ten noorden van de hoofdstad Boekarest.


Alle kosten betreffende de accommodatie en eten worden door de organisatoren vergoed, alsook 70% van de vervoerskosten.
Je leest het goed, deze reis voor je hobby is bijna geheel gratis !

 PA7TWO: A new Dutch contest group is born! PA6NH operates from the PA3FUN-premises located in the rural area of Nieuwe Niedorp, in the North West part of the province of Noord-Holland, The Netherlands. Team members are PA2PAC (Paul), PA3FUN (Christiaan), PA7TWO (Kees), PH9HB (Jeroen), PD1AIQ (Jan) and PE1OPK (Bram). PA6NH is equipped with two operating desks running Harris RF-590 & Hagenuk RX-1001M receivers, in combination with Telefunken S2525/3 transmitters. Traditional Yaesu/ACOM equipment is present as a backup. The PA6NH antenna farm consists of full-size quarter wave verticals for 40, 80 & 160 (meaning 40m tall...), two multi-element beams for 10/15/20, full-size horizontal loops for both 80m and 160m and various beverages for low-band operation.

PA6NH intends to participate in all major upcoming contests. Starting point will be the Dutch PACC, scheduled February 12 - 12:00 UTC / February 13 12:00 UTC. Successful tests with the new set-up were run during the UBA-SSB contest, results being very promising.

Direct daarna stuurde Pierre ons onderstaand mailtje inclusief dikke bijlagen: INFO en NEWS (pdf).

Na wat mailen met Pierre is duidelijk

- dat Pierre aanbiedt aan Nederlandse stations om skeds af te spreken

- en dat dat via Skype direct geregeld kan worden (Skype: zs8m.pierre)

- Pierre werkt geen CW, wel PSK&SSB

- 40M t/m 10M, geen 160&80 vanwege RFI in het gebouw.

Omdat er nogal veel onrust van roepers is op zijn frequentie zal je daarbij dus een (andere) frequentie moeten afspreken.

The national association of Icelandic Radio Amateurs, Í.R.A., is pleased to announce that as of December 13, 2010 continued access for Icelandic licensees has been secured on the 500 kHz, 5 MHz and 70 MHz bands. In a letter from the Icelandic Post and Telecom administration dated December 13, 2010 access to the 500 kHz and 70 MHz bands previously granted on February 19, 2010, and to the 5 MHz band, previously granted on January 1, 2008 – all due to expire on December 31, was extended for two years, to December 31, 2012.

Privileges and access to 500 kHz and 70 MHz remains unchanged (see below). Nevertheless, Í.R.A. is delighted to report that we have been granted 150 kHz in the 5360-5410 kHz band, as a replacement for eight fixed channels, previously permissible. Maximum power allowed on 5 MHz was though reduced from 200W to 100W (20 dBW).

1. The 4 meter allocation. Frequency span: 70.000-70.200 MHz. Access is granted on secondary basis. Maximum bandwidth is 16 kHz and power limit is 100W. Licensees need to apply to the PTA for a special license. The experimental license is open to both “N” and “G” license classes.

2. The 60 meter allocation. Frequency span: 5.260-5.410 MHz. Access is granted on secondary basis. Permissible modes are J3E (USB) and A1A and maximum bandwidth is 3 kHz. Power limit is 100W. Licensees need to apply to the PTA for a special license. The experimental license is open to both “N” and “G” license classes.

3. The 600 meter allocation. Frequency span: 493-510 kHz. Access is granted on secondary basis. Permissible mode: A1A. Power limit is 100W. Licensees need to apply to the PTA for a special license. The experimental license is open to both “N” and “G” license classes.

Martijn, PA3GFE: Ik ga na twee jaar weer naar Peru vanaf 28 december t/m 27 januari en zal mijn set meenemen en wat antennemateriaal.

Het wordt geen echte DX-peditie (vakantie bij schoonouders), maar ik probeer toch QRV te zijn op 40 t/m 15m met nadruk op 40 en 30m. De antenne zal denk ik een inverted V worden op het dak of een GP voor 40. Ook wil ik deze keer de digitale modes proberen vanuit OA. De call is OA4/PA3GFE. QSL via homecall. Tot werkens in de pile-up!

Het team bestaat uit: Patrick ON4HIL, Theo ON4ATW, Marc ON6CC, Luc ON4IA, Wim ON4CIT en Ronald PA3EWP

Zaterdagochtend wordt begonnen om het station op te bouwen. We zullen ’s middags of uiterlijk ’s avonds actief zijn.

De activiteiten zullen plaats vinden van 10 tot 160 meter in CW, SSB en RTTY. We gaan proberen 3 stations 24 uur bemand te krijgen.

Zondag 12 december zullen we meerdere antennes opruimen omdat we ’s maandags weer terug vliegen naar België.

De call die we gebruiken is 9Q5ØON ter gelegenheid van 50 jaar onafhankelijkheid van (Belgisch) Kongo.

Harmful Interference on exclusive Amateur Radio 10-m-Band 28000 – 29700 kHz

Dear Yuri,

Already on 24 October 2010 I have sent to you a letter dealing with Russian taxi business in FM in the range of 28000 – 29700 kHz. No answer from your side, so far.

Today and yesterday there were again sporadic-E-openings with much traffic by taxi stations in Russian language in FM in the above mentioned range.

So, again, I am sending you the letter of 24 October 2010 asking you very urgently for your answer and explanations. Here is the letter:

Since many years Russian taxi cabs have been violating national and international law by using the Amateur Radio Band 28000 – 29700 kHz for their traffic, mostly in FM (F3E):

The stations are always there; but only due to sporadic-E-openings one can hear them from time to time. Yesterday the 10 metre band was wide open into Russia, so the whole spectrum of the 10-m-Band was covered with taxi traffic in Russian language: Normally the “Base Station” of the taxi firm is equipped with a female person telling the male drivers by radio where to go. Yesterday many of these female persons produced signals of S9+20dB. This made amateur radio traffic in the 10-m-band very difficult. The taxi stations were a real pest!

I wonder if you are aware of this situation and the problems that the taxis are causing. Therefore my questions:

- What do the Russian telecommunications authorities do to solve the problem?

- What does Soyuz Radioljubitelei Rossii  do to get rid of these intruders?

Do you see a chance to solve the problem and to throw the Russian taxi drivers out of our exclusive bands?

I should like to read your answer soon on my computer screen.

LA1ASK/B Experimental Beacon 509 kHz

On 7 November 2010 the experimental beacon LA1ASK/B started transmissions on 509 kHz from the site of the old medium wave Bergen Broadcasting Station, QTH locator JP20OK, on the Askoy Island near Bergen, southwestern coast 

of Norway.  LA1ASK/B is transmitting with an output power of 5 watts telegraphy A1A.  The antenna is currently a 15 meters tall vertical, using the extensive ground system at the old medium wave broadcast station. There is a possibility

 that there will be tried other antennas.

Ook dit jaar zal het Traffic Bureau weer aanwezig zijn met een stand op de Dag voor de Radio Amateur in de Americahal te Apeldoorn.  We staan op plaats C13, naast het Service Bureau.

                         Met PA0ABM kunt u van gedachten wisselen over de VERON DX Honor Roll.
11.00 - 12.00  U kunt bij Peter Pape, PA3CAL, terecht voor het aanvragen van QSL kaarten voor verbindingen met alle stations die door het Traffic Bureau zijn geactiveerd.
12.00 - 13.00  Aan de stand, onder erbarmelijke omstandigheden, kunt u testen hoe goed u bent in het bestrijden van een heuse pile-up bij Eric-Jan Wösten, PA3CEV.
13.00 - 14.00  Theo Koning, PA1CW is aanwezig voor DXCC field checking. Hier kunt u uw kaarten laten controleren voor DXCC aanvragen.

CQ WW Contest

Dear Fellow contester,

Many of you do not subscribe to the contest reflector or CQ magazine and you may have missed our public announcement.  The CQ WW Contest   Committee would like to inform you via this news letter that the ASSISTED CATEGORY award program has been greatly expanded.

-  We announce the strengthening of the assisted awards program. Starting with the 2010 CQ WW contests, the assisted category award program will be greatly expanded.

-  All Low Power and QRP assisted entrants will be specifically listed and eligible for awards as is already the case for unassisted entries. 

-  A band-by-band breakdown for all band assisted World, Europe and USA will be provided within the 2010 results. 

-  Lastly, the number of plaques available to assisted entrants will be increased to include Europe Assisted All Band and all World Assisted Single Bands. 

We hope that this action provides an incentive for entrants using a QSO spotting system to join the assisted category.

Please make a note that the log submission deadline for SSB has changed to Nov 21, 2010 and for CW to Dec 21, 2010.

Nieuw NCDXF/IARU HF Beacon Monitoring station in Nederland actief.

Mark, PA5MW: Sedert lange tijd heb ik thuis een NCDXF/IARU HF Beacon monitoring station actief. In het kort:  dit levert iedere 15minuten een overzicht van de dx condities op de vijf banden 20-17-15-12-10m. In het diagram zie je 18 stations verspreid over de hele wereld, welke mogelijk in het 15min segment zijn ontvangen. Belangrijk detail is dat de HF bakens aan het einde van hun uitzending een reeks korte draaggolven met respectievenlijk 100W, 10W, 1W en 0,1W uitzenden. En dat allemaal uitgezonden op een eenvoudige multiband rondstraler. Zo ook voor de ontvangstantenne bij mij thuis die slechts bestaat uit een vishengel met 5 verticale draden er langs gespannen als kwartgolf groundplane. Kortom je ziet in het diagram wat er bijna in real-time precies in Brabant te horen, c.q. welk DX-land er wellicht ook te werken is.

Theo, PA1CW: The dissolution of the Netherland Antilles has caused changes to the DXCC List.  As per the DXCC rules, the two Netherland Antilles DXCC entities will be deleted and moved to the Deleted Entities List.  Four new entities will be added to the DXCC List : (1) Curacao; (2) St. Maarten; (3) Saba and St. Eustatius; and (4) Bonaire.  The event date and time for these changes will be 0400Z, 10 October, 2010.  Confirmations for these new entities will be accepted for credit starting 1 January, 2011.

Other administrative changes and actions will be announced as they are finalized.

Due to the unprecedented number of potential new DXCC entities and numerous planned DXpeditions commencing 10-10-10, we felt it was prudent to establish a Band Plan to try to minimize interference between DX- peditions and their pileups.  The following Band Plan is the result of discussions that have been ongoing for several weeks. It is a Plan....how- ever, without the cooperation of DXers, the plan will not work.  It is extremely important that DXers call DXpeditions only within  the specified frequency ranges. If you do not, you will not work the station you are calling and you will likely interfere with another  DXpedition on another Island.  This will require cooperation and discipline.

Success of this plan also requires that DXers help spread the information about the Band Plan to their fellow DXers and DX Clubs.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!

But if we work together, we will be able to get many, many DXers into our logs!

ARRL Awards Committee Statement on Dissolution of the Netherlands Antillies

To clarify the administrative process by which the anticipated changes to the two existing Netherlands Antilles DXCC entities will be made, the ARRL Awards Committee has determined that at 0400Z (12:00 AM local time in the islands) on 10 October 2010, the two Netherland Antilles DXCC entities will be deleted. Commencing at 0400Z (12:00 AM local time) on 10 October, 2010, operation from the islands of Curacao, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Saba, and St Eustatius will count for a yet-to-be-determined number of new entities under the DXCC List Criteria, and Political Entities, Rule 1 and/or Rule 2 Geographic Separation Entities.  When the Awards Committee determines what Rule 1 or Rule 2 actions apply, it will announce the final disposition of the entities on the DXCC list.

The DXCC desk will not accept confirmations for these new entities until after 1 January, 2011.

Hoofddoel is de VHF contest op 4/5 September maar daarnaast zal men ook aktief zijn op de HF banden, 10-80 meter en 70 MHz, CW/SSB.  Grote yagi systemen worden opgezet voor 2 meter, voor HF een spiderbeam en dipolen, en een 5 elements yagi voor 70 MHz . De gebruikte call in de VHF contest zal zijn LX/PA1TK/p, LX/homecalls op HF en 2 meter op dagen voor de contest. Kaarten voor verbindingen in de contest gaan via PA1TK, anderen via de homecalls. Ik had de kaart 2 keer direct gestuurd met inhoud maar die zijn nooit aangekomen, aldus Felipe, PY1NB. De online OQRS bracht uiteindelijk uitkomst! Hij viel vandaag in de bus, mooie kaart..DXCC #319.

Chantal, PA5YL:  PA100J/J Scouting Nederland viert haar 100-jarig bestaan met een groot jubileumkamp in Roermond (JubJam), waar ruim 11000 deelnemers naartoe zullen komen. Daarom zal van 26 juli tot en met 4 augustus de speciale call PA100J/J in de lucht zijn. The 2010 DXpedition to the Island of Jersey is ready to set sail…….

A team of six operators will head to the island between june 29th and july 6th 2010. Team members are: G3USR - GM4FDM - PA1AW - PA1BDO - PA3EWP - PA9JO

Main focus will be on Six meter but in total 3 HF stations and dedicated 6 and 2 meters stations will be active.  There will be no 4 meter operation. Operation will be from the Jersey Amateur Radio Society at the old German signal station at La Moye. Grid: Grid Locator : IN89ve - IOTA EU-01.

Callsigns used are : GJ4FDM, GJ3USR and MJ/PA1BDO, MJ/PA3EWP, MJ/PA9JO & MJ/PA1AW.

The team will an entry in the 6 meter and VHF contests during the weekend of 3 & 4 July 2010.

Six:    

GJ4FDM will be the main callsign used on 6 meter. The team will focus their activity on 50.125 SSB and 50.105 CW +/- QRM. When the band is "closed" a beacon will be on 50.105 beaming West. Please alert the team via team@jersey-2010.info (constantly monitored). The team will be on the ON4KST chat and also take skeds for digital modes. EME is still optional depending on actual antenna situation. During the 3 & 4 July 2010 contest another callsign will be used on 6 meter.

2 meter:

MJ/PA3EWP will be the main callsign used on 2 meter. The team will focus their activity on 144.325 SSB +/- QRM. The team will be on the ON4KST chat and also take skeds for MS.

HF:

The team holds broad interests in various modes and bands so activity will be widely spread depending on propagation.  Please do not hesitate to contact the team by team@jersey-2010.info or a guestbook entry to advise us about your demand or propagation. Individual callsigns will be used on HF.

The date for the constitutional change in the Netherlands Antilles is now set for 10-10-10. In 2009 I anticipated that this change would lead to four new DXCC entities. Recently the PJ2T team brought to my attention that -measured with Google Earth- the distance between Bonaire and Saba is 798.5 km (so slightly less than 800 km). With this distance the BES islands would count as one DXCC entity only. There is hope though: ARRL does not use Google Earth but detailed Nautical charts or Geodetic Survey charts with a high level of detail to determine the distance between two points. Calculating the distance between Bonaire at (my best guess) 12º13'18.07"N 68º11'51.25"W and Saba on 17º36'56.26"N 63º15'06.32W" using the WGS84 Earth Model the distance is 799.4 km. Using the spherical model, where 1 minute is 1 Nautical Mile the distance calculated is 800.6 km.

Visitors to South Africa during the Soccer World Cup event may operate amateur radio while in South Africa using the prefix ZS10 in front of their own callsign for example ZS10/G3XYZ. Koen, PA4KUN: Ter ere van het 30-jarig jubileum heeft ESRAC ( Eindhovense Studenten Radio Amateur Club) de speciale call PA30ESRAC aangevraagd. 

Deze call is bij ons station te gebruiken vanaf woensdag 12 mei tot na het pinksterweekend, zodat we ook tijdens het VERON Pinkster Kamp de call kunnen gebruiken.

Op woensdag 12 mei houden we een 24 up en proberen we zo veel mogelijk verbindingen te maken. In de pauze gaan we in de kantine zitten ter promotie van ESRAC en het zendamateurisme.

Anneke - PB7XYL is de eerste YL buiten de Verenigde Staten die het Triple Play Award (TPA) behaald heeft. Dit award wordt uitgegeven door de ARRL als er in 3 modes (Phone, CW en Digimode) met alle 50 Staten een verbinding is gemaakt en bevestigd via Lotw. Ruud - PA9RD, haar man heeft als tweede Nederlander het TPA award behaald, samen zijn zij dus het eerste ham-koppel uit Nederland!

This time, all licenses for Amateur Radio Operator classes has Englsh text as well as Japanese.

The International YL meeting 2010 will take place in Munich-Germany, from June 18^th to June 28^th . This is the reason for the DARC, district C Upper Bavaria, to issue the following short-term award:  Award YL-Meeting Munich 2010

During the entire month of June 2010 YLs with a QTH in DL can be worked as well as any station from the Munich local associations. Every contact with a YL from DL and every contact with a DL-Club Station activated by a YL will count for 2 points. Contacts with one of the Munich local associations will count for 1 point (DOK C09, C11, C12, C13, C18, C26 C34, Z13, Z67) – OM’s, club and educational stations –. The YL clubstation DLØYLC of the district C counts for 10 points. Every callsign will count only once.

All bands and modes of operation are allowed.

Applicants from DL need 88 points,

European applicants need 33 points,

DX applicants need 11 points.

The application occurs with logbook extract.

Fee: 5 Euros or 7US Dollars.

Graag nodigen we u allen uit om aan de komende PACC 2010 deel te nemen, die plaatsvindt van zaterdag 13 februari 12.00 UTC tot zondag 14 februari 12.00 UTC. Lees de reglementen nog even door, er hebben wat veranderingen plaatsgevonden. Voor SWL stations is de toevoeging opgenomen dat alle QSO's tijdens de contest gelogd dienen te worden (regel 7.2.1). Het is daarmee niet toegestaan de contest via een SDR radio in zijn geheel op te nemen en daarna tijdens het afspelen QSO's te loggen.  

Een toelichting over regel 5.4.1:
"5.4.1 Enkel één signaal op enige band op enig moment toegestaan, tenzij het multiplier station een nieuwe multiplier kan werken op een andere band dan waar het running station actief is." Het multiplier station is bedoeld om multipliers te zoeken/werken op een andere band dan waar het running station op enig moment bezig is. Het multiplier station mag niet zelf CQ gaan roepen en enkel de multipliers loggen... De statische analyses die op alle logs worden los gelaten controleren ook hierop (QSO_CROSS_CHECK_ERROR_QSO_NOT_FOUND)...

Na het insturen van het contestlog zal de claimed score niet te zien zijn op de site, die zal pas geplaatst worden als de inzendtermijn gesloten is. Contestlogs kunnen tot 15 maart 2010 aangeleverd worden.

Een opmerking met betrekking tot het PACC-afdelingsklassement. Deelname hieraan is enkel mogelijk voor de SINGLE OPERATORS, inclusief SWL deelnemers. Om het log mee te laten tellen voor het PACC-afdelingsklassement *moet* er in de header van de CABRILLO file een regel staan die er als volgt uitziet (voorbeelden):

De afdelingsnaam is dus optioneel. Met header wordt hier bedoeld het gedeelte dat vooraf gaat aan de QSO regels. Opmerkingen in bijv. de soapbox worden door de robot *niet* herkend waardoor de score niet meetelt voor het PACC-afdelingsklassement. Het PACC-afdelingsklassement moet NIET verward worden met de VERON-afdelingscompetitie. Punten behaald in de PACC worden NIET automatisch meegeteld voor de VERON-afdelingscompetitie, maar moeten APART worden opgegeven op de daarvoor bestemde website!

Als niet wenst deel te nemen aan het afdelingsklassement gebruik dan: CLUB: 00

Tot slot is het leuk als iedereen die meedoet probeert om minstens 100 contest-QSO's te halen, zo doen we met z'n allen de naam PACC weer een beetje eer aan! Veel plezier en succes, we zien jullie log graag tegemoet!

De Bavarian Contest Club (BCC) opent tijdens de ARRL SSB contest (6/7 maart) de deuren van enkele contest stations. Dit om vooral beginners / nieuwelingen aan te moedigen deel te nemen aan contesten. Geïnteresseerden kunnen tijdens de open dagen meeluisteren, uitleg vragen en of zelf achter de microfoon kruipen. Aanmelding is vereist.
